OCHO RIOS EXCURSIONS

This adventure begins when you are picked up at your cruise ship pier or Hotel in Ocho Rios by one of our friendly guides who will take you in an air-conditioned van or bus on a 30 minute ride along Jamaica's scenic north to the stables. 

This is truly a fun and enjoyable experience for the whole family! Our horseback riding tour goes through the scenic countryside, onto the shores and swimming bareback with the horses on a beautiful, private beach, experiencing the beautiful rural Jamaican landscape – frolic and revel in the warm Caribbean Sea. 

Upon your arrival at the stables, Our trail masters will find a horse suitable to your riding experience. This tour takes you for one of the most unforgettable Caribbean experiences. This horse-riding trail takes you to see panoramic views of Jamaican picturesque mountains and coastline. 

Your horseback riding  begins at the Sand n' Saddle picturesque private beach. You will receive a safety briefing before setting out on your ride. Helmets are provided and are mandatory to be worn. Your ride will be slow along the trail as most riders are not experienced. Your guide will point out the variety of local vegetables grown by farmers on the rural trail, which will lead you onto a stretch of white sandy beach, where you will experience the tranquil beauty of the Caribbean Sea. Next is a trail that takes you back to the private beach. On arrival at the beach the guides will assist you to dismount your horse so that you can get ready for the swim. Enjoy this once in a Lifetime experience of being on your horse in the sea. When the tide is high your horse will actually swim.

Next, we will take you to do our canopy Zip Line adventure. Upon arrival at the park each person is greeted by guides, orientation and safety briefing will follow. This is followed by reading and signing the disclaimer and health declaration forms. This ensures that everyone needs to take responsibility for themselves and their actions.

Each Zip Line ride is a different experience, and once you have been harnessed your safety instructions come next then it is unto the first Zip Line. You will experience seven (7) lines and four (4) brides in the canopy above the river on this excursion. As you zip across the canopy, catchers will be waiting for you after each line and the staff will be with you in ensuring your safety every step of the way. 

After the exhilaration, fun and excitement is over we will take back to Ocho Rios for a bit of duty-free shopping before returning to your Cruise Ship Pier, resort or villa in Ocho Rios.
