Tour Description
This tour begins as you are met by our friendly driver/guide at your cruise ship pier and taken for sights of Montego Bay which is also called the second city and Jamaica’s tourism capital by many Jamaicans.
On this tour you will get to see Jamaica’s past, city life, spectacular residential areas and five star Resorts. We transport you in clean air-conditioned mini vans or buses with guides who are trained by the J.T.B. ( Jamaica Tourist board). Our guides are friendly, professional, willing to ensure your safety, comfort, enjoyment at all times and will get you back to your ship safely and on time.
We recognize that each group has different needs and our guides are sensitive to your needs, flexible and will make adjustments if necessary to customize your tour.
As we head east we will pass along the fringes of Montego Bay. We will head up the hill on “top road” you will get to look down and see sections of downtown, the “Hip Strip” and your cruise ship in port. We will descend just outside of the Montego Bay International airport and follow the coast to the Rose Hall Great House. You will then be greeted by tour guides and taken on a tour of the property. The legend surrounding Rose Hall and its infamous owner, Annie Palmer, also known as “The White Witch of Rose Hall,” is one that has fascinated generations of island natives and visitors alike. It is a story with all the elements of an engaging novel: a beautiful heroine, unrequited love, black magic and revenge – all set in a gracious old plantation tucked amid the green hills of Jamaica. One of the most impressive buildings on the property, the Great House, was built in 1770 by John Palmer and his wife, Rosa. After the couple passed away in 1790, the property went through many hands until finally ending up the residence of John Palmer’s grand nephew, John Rose Palmer. In 1820, John Rose Palmer married, Annie, a beautiful but feisty English girl. Little did he know that his young wife possessed “black magic” powers that would eventually lead to his demise. During her reign as mistress of the plantation, Annie did away with two more husbands and countless lovers.
Of course, the meting out of such undeserved cruelty had its price: in 1831, Annie was found dead in her bedroom at The Great House. After your tour of the Great House, we will take you past famous five star Resorts and through Spring Farm – an upscale neighborhood on the outskirts of Montego Bay where you can see a magnificent display of architecture.
Drive through down town Montego Bay to give you a feel of the locals before heading to the famous”Hip Strip”.
The Hip Strip is the heart of many activities in Montego Bay for visitors. There is the Famous Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville sports bar and grill, great shopping, the Harley Davidson’s Store, Margarittes, the famous Doctors Cave Beach bathing club all within walking distance of each other. You may cool off with a non-alcoholic beverage at Margaritaville and go down the water slide into the ocean and jump in any one of their ocean trampolines before heading to the Doctors Cave Beach for a swim.
If you would like to arrange some beach time, you can let your guide know and he will make adjustments. the entrance fee to the beach is only US$5.00 per person.
When on your tour you are allowed to customize it to suit your needs, if you would like to go visit the local Craft Market to purchase souvenirs or have some local Jamaican Jerk chicken for lunch before returning to your cruise ship, feel free to let your guide know. We aim to satisfy as you make the most of your time in port with us.

Good Afternoon Dwight, just wanted to thank you for all of your assistance answering my questions and assisting us in booking our airport transfers and excursions in Jamaica.
Michael our driver was always on time and the perfect host. He met us at the airport and drove us through a pretty bad storm going to Ocho Rios. He was very helpful in assistance us at Blue Hole and Dunn’s River to get our tickets for entry and drive us safely back home.
I would highly recommend him and his professionalism.

Hello Dwight, hope this meets you well. We had a lovely time in Ochi ☺️.
We visited Ocho Rios port as part of our cruise in August. Before our excursion, we were contacted by Dwight to ensure a smooth day. This included what to bring and gave an idea of what to expect which o really liked.
On the day, our Driver Alex was very upbeat and friendly. He talked about sights as we passed by with fun facts and also about the parishes. The overall experience was very seamless and timely as we had 2 excursions in one.
We were very satisfied with the service and will return in a heartbeat. Thank you to Dwight, Alex and the team at Karandas tours! ❤️

Thanks to Dwight for assistance with booking. We got to see exactly what we wanted to see during our short stay in Jamaica (cruising on Carnival Glory). Next time I hope to be able to spend more time.
Our driver/guide Biggs was awesome! Loved that he shared local fruits with us! He was very informative and attentive. We felt safe and well looked after. Couldn’t ask for a better guide.

This excursion was the highlight of our trip! Our driver Willy was great. He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions about the island and we got to learn some Jamaican history. The guides at Blue Hole/Secret Falls were the best! They really made us feel safe and had us laughing the entire time. I don’t know if my mom would’ve done the bigger jump if it weren’t for them. The guide and photographer at Dunn’s River Falls were also excellent. Overall, we loved this excursion and feel it exceeded our expectations.

Thank you very much for checking in. My mom and I had a great time. Ryan was amazing and just so nice in showing us around. He made sure we had a great time and we got back to our ship on time. We asked a lot of questions about Jamaica and he was so helpful. We decided that next time we come back to Jamaica we were going to book an Airbnb. We would also love to book another tour with your company too. We really enjoy the Bob Marley Tour and he took us to his favorite restaurant he love to eat at. One day wasn’t enough for us to enjoy Jamaica so we would love to come back.
Please tell Ryan we had a great time and really appreciate him.

We had an excellent time going to the secret falls and river tubing in Ocho Rios. Grant was an excellent guide. He was on time, friendly, and a safe driver. It was lovely chatting with him and he definitely read the vibe of the group. At the beginning of the trip, he let us know that he’d be happy to take us wherever throughout the day. One of people in our group wanted to go to an authentic Jamaican restaurant and he took us to Linda’s which was an incredible!
My boys wanted to get cornrows so while we were at the restaurant he went and found someone in town who would be willing to do it right at the restaurant. He also took us to a shop to purchase a few souvenirs. When we didn’t see anything we liked, he took us to two other stores.
Best of all, he knew when we are getting tired toward the end of the day and delivered us safely back to our hotel. If we could give him more than five stars we would.
We hope to return to Jamaica one day and will definitely look you up and recommend you to other people traveling to the area.

Wheelchair Accessible Excursion
We booked this excursion for 5 adults and 2 of the adults are in heavy power wheelchairs. We were picked up at the port by a van that held both chairs and the other 3 passengers comfortably. Our driver was very knowledgeable and worked hard to make our day special. The wheelchair accessible area of the Falls was not available that day, so he made arrangements for us to go to the beach at the bottom of the falls and insisted on unloading the two wheelchairs so that they could enjoy the beach. It was definitely the highlight of our tour and we made memories that we will never forget.
Fun Times in Jamaica
By far one of the best excursions we have had in the Islands. The Blue Hole and Secret Falls were gorgeous. Even though I was too scared to jump I got to video all my family taking the plunge and enjoying themselves. The River Tube was more my speed and what a great time floating down the river, with a few rapids mixed in, and enjoying the beautiful lush scenery. Our tour guides were very attentive and helpful.
