Tour Description
This is a wonderful excursion that takes you along the scenic north coast and then into Jamaica’s country side, experience Jamaica’s thrilling Valley River Rafting. Beginning at the Falmouth Cruise Ship Pier or Trelawny resort, you’ll be greeted by our friendly driver/guide who will take you on a scenic 15 minute ride up into the country side to the Marthae Brae River Valley. This is where your Rafting adventure begins.
You will then board a 30-foot Bamboo Raft for an unbelievable ride down stream. Your experienced captain will make your trip through this beautiful valley a memorable one. This can be a romantic and relaxing trip for young and old couples.
Your trip down stream generally takes 1.5 hours, and you are given unlimited photo opportunities of the spectacular scenery.
This tour gives you a special day in Jamaica and introduces you to a unique experience, a special moment for couples and the perfect day in our country side. Following this experience your driver/guide will take you for some last minute shopping before returning to the Falmouth Cruise Ship Pier or Trelawny resort.
The following options are also available after your excursion:
- Enjoy some Jamaican lunch, this includes authentic spicy Jamaican Jerked Pork or Chicken along with unique side orders like Festivals and Bammy (the cost of lunch is not included in the rate).
- Visit Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville Sports Bar and Grill by the Beach
- Duty Free Shopping in town and or shopping by the Craft Market

We really enjoyed our day and our driver Willie was great! The only negative would be the confusion at the port when trying to locate the driver, but Willie indicated that was because they had changed the ship’s port and it was very congested there, so it sounds like that was just bad luck and could not have been planned for. Thank you.

Hi,
My tour was great. Excellent driver. There was an issue in the beginning where we were waiting quite a while in the van (in the parking lot) while for another couple from the ship to come on the van with us and they never arrived. I understand this was not the fault of the driver and he was nice and apologized for the delay.
We also had to wait about 15 minutes after the raft trip because someone else needed a pick up at the port who arrived earlier than was anticipated. The driver also apologized for this delay.
I would definitely recommend your group for excursions and I will plan to use you again.

Firstly an apology that Tom and I can’t remember the drivers name.
We will not however forget how good he was; polite, friendly and very knowledgeable. We had an extremely enjoyable day in Kingston visiting the Bob Marley museum and then being guided around Kingston. It was excellent to get the “inside” information one to one rather than just a tour guides rehearsed script. We finished off in Kingston with a lovely jerk lunch at Devon house that we shared with the driver.
On the way back to the hotel we had asked to look for some souvenirs and nothing was too much trouble and he took us to a couple of places until we had all that we needed.

Good Afternoon Dwight, just wanted to thank you for all of your assistance answering my questions and assisting us in booking our airport transfers and excursions in Jamaica.
Michael our driver was always on time and the perfect host. He met us at the airport and drove us through a pretty bad storm going to Ocho Rios. He was very helpful in assistance us at Blue Hole and Dunn’s River to get our tickets for entry and drive us safely back home.
I would highly recommend him and his professionalism.
We will definitely use your services on a return trip home….one love.

Hello Dwight, hope this meets you well. We had a lovely time in Ochi ☺️.
We visited Ocho Rios port as part of our cruise in August. Before our excursion, we were contacted by Dwight to ensure a smooth day. This included what to bring and gave an idea of what to expect which o really liked.
On the day, our Driver Alex was very upbeat and friendly. He talked about sights as we passed by with fun facts and also about the parishes. The overall experience was very seamless and timely as we had 2 excursions in one.
We were very satisfied with the service and will return in a heartbeat. Thank you to Dwight, Alex and the team at Karandas tours! ❤️
